Holding Space is Lizz’s first recording to be released on her new label.

Holding Space is a live recording from a 2018 show in Berlin where Lizz and the band were closing a summer tour. The show was recorded at the sound board in the center of the audience by Christian Ulbrich, Lizz’s touring engineer and manager. The spirit and events of this particular Berlin show captured Lizz’s attention as she was listening back through live material during the start of the 2020 lockdowns that resulted from the Covid-19 outbreak.

In a short film she openly reflects with her band mates about what it actually feels like to have the presence of a listening world in her life as a human being.

The stories of artists are often told by their critics and fans. Holding Space is an experience of an artist tenderly sharing her narrative with her audience from the same creative and sacred space that the music springs from.
